The serial number is embedded in the anodized aluminum like the rest of the image. There is no “after the fact” stamping, etching, engraving or printing.
No concern of corrosion or rubbing off of the most important number on the plate, the serial number. Adding a barcode or UID to your nameplate is optional.

I need my serialized plates to have unique numbering that is not consecutive. Can you do that?
Absolutely. You can supply a spreadsheet with the unique variable information or any way you prefer.

Good news! All of our serial number plates & tags are durable. We will use our 35 years of experience to recommend a solution that is appropriate for your application and never over sell you. We can supply material samples for testing so you have peace of mind with your final decision.
Can I purchase serial number tags and stamp in my own numbers?
Our aluminum can easily be stamped in-house when you’re ready. If you need this flexibility, we can leave serial number fields blank. Permanent markers will work on all of our materials, including non-metal label stocks.
Tip of the Trade: Don’t forget you can double the benefit of your serial number plate or tag by adding a human readable barcode. The serial number will still be readable with an added benefit of scanning for electronic tracking. A QR code can be added so a smartphone can link to your website.
